Our Mission
Corey’s Closet is a local nonprofit 501(c) (3) thrift store where we create meaningful employment to those 21+ with developmental disabilities. Our primary goal is to hire, train, and encourage these individuals, fostering independence, self-respect, and a sense of community.
All proceeds from donations in the store will go towards giving resources to those with developmental disabilities, where they can have meaningful careers. We are a small local non-profit that values the importance of service work, creating community and equity for those with a various range of disabilities.
Corey's Closet takes pride in making opportunities easily accessible for those with a wide variety of developmental or physical disabilities. Our job coach helps guide volunteers to maximize their skills while also learning new skills for highly competitive careers in retail and customer service. If interested in volunteering at the thrift store, please contact us at coreyscloset@outlook.com.

Donation Impact
Donations brought in by customers and/or our community are sorted, tagged and distributed on the sales floor by volunteers. Sales from our thrift store impact our local communities by going directly to building resources for those with disabilities. We are grateful to our customers who help fund-raise donations to summer camps, local disability organizations and job readiness workshops.
